Chiropractic Assistant / Office Manager

Here is a little personal information on me.  I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  I moved to Texas when I was in the 3rd grade and continued on until graduating from high school.  I married my husband Patrick who was in the Army.  Our first duty station was in Hawaii.  For the 3 years I was there I went to school and got my A.A. in Liberal Arts.  After our tour overseas we ended up back in Texas where we had our daughter, Brisa.  Patrick was a Chief Warrant Officer who flew OH-58 helicopter for the Army. He was sent to Iraq where he passed away.  My husband and I were married for 10 years.  After his death I decided to stay and be close to his family since we had our daughter.  Plus, Minnesota is a wonderful place to raise children. 

Some interesting facts about me are I am fluent in Spanish and I am currently working towards a Black Belt in Karate.

I actually started out as a patient of Dr. Jesse Ternus.  I was having some lower back and hip issues. During my treatment plan we became friends and I had mentioned to him that I was looking for a job to occupy my time.  I now run the front office, perfom the billing activites, and interact and assist with the patients.  I will soon be obtaining my Chiropractic Assistant Certificate so I can better help our patients and the practice.  I have enjoyed the challenges that this office has given me. With the growth of the practice so will my responsibilities to the patients.
